SECTION 01 / THE PROBLEM Before & After

You've tried everything except this.

Three small disasters every casual player in the Philippines already knows by heart. We took notes.

Before

5 group chats. 0 partners free Saturday. The one person who said yes ghosted at 6am.

After

A real-time feed of players actually free when you are. Tap, match, lock the slot — before breakfast.

Before

Booking a court alone in case someone shows up. Then warming up for forty minutes by yourself.

After

Partner first, court second. You match in the app, then you and your partner sort out where to play — no reserving a court on the off chance someone turns up.

Before

That one guy from Facebook who said NTRP 4.0 and plays like a 2.5. You bought new balls for this.

After

Skill ratings get re-calibrated by people you've actually played with. The 4.0 next to a name means something.

SECTION 02 / HOW MATCHING WORKS How matching works

Three taps from feed to court.

No profile-building marathon. No "let me check my schedule and get back to you." Just the people near you who want to play, and a chat that opens the second you both swipe right.

Step 01

A feed of players free when you are.

Filtered by sport, skill range, distance, and time of day — and it updates live, no pull-to-refresh.

Step 02

Swipe right on the one you want to hit with.

They see your sport, level, and schedule. If they swipe right back — it's a match.

Step 03

Chat opens. Court next.

Logistics live in the match thread — court name, time, who's bringing the balls.

SECTION 03 / THE FEED Built around the way you actually play

A feed that knows drills from a casual hit.

Six things we obsessed over. Each one came out of a Saturday morning that should've been simpler than it was.

FEATURE 01 · REAL-TIME FEED

A feed filtered down to people you'd actually play.

Sport, skill range, distance, gender, age range, time of day. The feed updates live — new players appear the moment they post, no pull-to-refresh. If they're free, you see them.

  • Filter by sport, skill, distance, time of day
  • Live updates — no refresh, no stale posts
  • Save filter presets per sport you play
  • Optional notifications when a match appears in your window

FEATURE 02 · THREE WAYS TO PLAY

Drills, casual, or tournament — pick the energy.

Every match request is tagged with what kind of session it is, so nobody shows up expecting a friendly knock-around and gets stuck running cones. Each subcategory has its own badge color and its own slot in the filter.

  • Drills — focused practice, repeatable patterns
  • Casual — just hit, low pressure
  • Tournament — competitive prep, full sets
  • Switch your default by day or by mood

03 · PartyUp

Or skip the 1-on-1 — play in a group

PartyUp turns the same feed into 3-, 4-, and 6-player matches with a group chat baked in. Find a four-stick, organize a doubles night, lock in a weekly squad — without spinning up another group chat from scratch.

04 · Skill ratings

Ratings that mean something

After every match, both players quietly rate the level they actually played at. Your rating drifts toward how others see you — no more "intermediate" lies.

05 · In-app chat

Logistics in one place, not Messenger drift

Court name, time, who's bringing balls — pinned to the match thread. Auto-reminders the night before and morning of.

06 · Recurring partners

If you click, lock in the weekly slot

Found someone whose forehand actually pushes yours? Convert that match into a recurring slot — same day, same time, every week. One active recurring match per pair, so it stays meaningful. Skip a week with one tap, no awkward DM.

SECTION 04 / TRUST & SAFETY Trust & Safety

The rails that keep matching from getting weird.

A small list of unsexy controls that quietly do most of the work. We'd rather build these slowly and well than ship a "community guidelines" PDF.

Mutual

Matches are always mutual

No one messages you out of nowhere — a chat only opens when you've both swiped right. There's no ID check on players, so your first line of safety is that you choose who you connect with.

Live
Reviews

Real reviews from played-with partners

Only people who actually showed up to your match can leave a review. No drive-by ratings, no anonymous trolls — every review traces to a real session.

Live
Controls

Report & block any user

One tap from any profile, feed card, or chat thread. Blocked players never appear in your feed again, and reports go straight to a small human team — not a queue.

Live
Reliability

No-show tracking & rep system

A reliability score that drops every time someone bails last-minute. Players with a healthy rep surface higher in your feed. Repeat no-shows lose access to matching.

FAQ

Player questions, answered.

The ones we hear in every demo — in the same order people tend to ask them.

Yes. Sign up, browse the feed, swipe, match, chat — all free, no card required, no trial countdown. Paid plans exist for coaching bookings, machine rentals, and priority placement, but the core matching is free forever. We make money when you upgrade to book a coach or rent a machine, not when you find a partner.

No. The feed filters by level, so beginners only see beginners and intermediates only see intermediates by default. There's a "Just learning" tag for absolute first-timers — match with someone else on the same step and figure it out together. Most of our early users describe themselves as "casual" or "rusty."

You tap "didn't show" in the match thread within 24 hours. It dings the other player's reliability score — invisible to other users, but it affects how high they rank in feeds. Repeat no-shows lose access to matching for a cooldown period. The score recovers over time with completed sessions, so one bad week doesn't follow you forever.

Straight answer: we don't ID-verify players, so we lean on the things that actually deter fakes. Matches are mutual, so no one reaches you unless you both swipe right. Reviews only come from partners you actually played with, so a profile builds a real track record you can read before you commit. And you can report or block anyone in one tap — reports go to a small human team, and repeat offenders lose access to matching. (The one place we do run credential checks is verified coaches.)

Yes. One tap from their profile, the feed card, or the chat thread. Blocked players never see your profile again, never appear in your feed, and any recurring sessions between you get cancelled. Reports go to a small human review team, not a ticket queue — we read every single one.

Tennis, pickleball, padel, badminton, squash, and table tennis at launch in the Philippines. You can pick more than one sport per profile — your feed splits by sport so you don't have to switch accounts.

Never your exact location. Other players see a rough distance ("2 km away") and an area tag ("QC / BGC / Pasig") that you choose. Live location is only shared inside an active match chat, and only if you explicitly tap "share location" — it auto-stops two hours after the match start time.

Yes — download PartnerUp from the App Store or Google Play, or use the web app at app.partnerupsports.com. Same account everywhere. We're Philippines-wide, with supply densest in the major metros first.
